Universal Magnetic Base for the Hardened Pushers

The universal magnetic base is made from alloy steel and measures approximately:

Diameter: 36mm
Length: 20mm

Contains 2x neodymium magnets. Made in England, UK.

The universal magnetic base attaches to the underside of your press ram. Some hydraulic presses have a steel rod extending from the underneath of the jack - the universal base can attach to this rod. Other hydraulic presses have the ram extending from bottom to top. If your press is like that, attach the base to the underside of the top press frame. Attach one of our hardened steel pushers to the magnetic base (Not included). 

The pusher face should be pointing down towards the die or shot plate. You can use the pusher in any type of press - hydraulic, kick press, fly press etc. 

Important! - Always ensure the magnetic base and pusher is placed centrally on the ram or frame before pressing.

These pushers are available to use with the universal magnetic base.

PROCESSING TIMES

All purchases are made to order and will take 4-5 working days to dispatch. You will receive a dispatch notification via email with your tracking number. All hardened items will take an extra 3-5 working days for the heat treatment process. These times may increase during promotions, sales and holiday periods.

UK DELIVERY

UK delivery is free on orders over £35. A delivery charge of £6 applies to orders under £35.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Free International Shipping on orders over £125GBP. Orders under £125GBP have flat rate shipping charge of £10-27 (depending on country) for all items in basket. We use UPS/DPD for all international deliveries. The buyer is solely responsible for understanding and complying with the import requirements of the destination country and any duty, VAT, taxes, or clearance charges that may be applicable outside of the UK.

A magnetic base and pusher attaches to the underside of the top platen of a hydraulic press and forces the metal into the die. Always make sure the magnetic base and the pusher is centred on the press both back to front and side to side. 
Do not use the magnetic base to press items, always use a pusher. 
Line up the part of the die you are pressing centrally to the pusher. 
Wear appropriate PPE. 
Regularly inspect steel tools and implements for wear and sharp edges. 
Keep steel tools oiled to prevent corrosion. 
Steel can be brittle and may shatter under extreme stress.
