Medusa Celtic Coin
A stare from the distant past; this snake adorned Gorgon face first appeared on a small gold coin minted in Britain between 25BC – 10AD by the Celtic ruler Tincomarus.

- Specification
At around 20mm in diameter, our Medusa is larger than the ancient original coin. Struck from hand engraved dies, every Medusa is unique. Choose from Argentium silver (UK hallmarked on the reverse), silver-bronze both weighing approx 9.5g. The reverse is blank and the coin is slightly dish shaped and toned.
Your Medusa coin will arrive on a velour insert inside a cardboard presentation box. Please note – the Medusa coin and pendant are hand struck using dies. There may be small flan cracks, irregular edges and minor imperfections typical of the minting process.
