Steel Jewellery Press Spacer

It's good practice to operate your press with the minimum amount of ram extension and these steel spacers are designed to sit underneath your work thereby reducing the distance between moving parts.

Spacers also offer added flexibility when working with shot plates and impression dies of different heights - just add or remove spacers as required. You can stack several spacers together as needed. Remember to keep your work (and spacers) properly centred to the press ram at all times.

Remember to keep your work and spacers properly centred to the press ram at all times. Do not use to bridge gaps. Wear appropriate PPE. Regularly inspect steel tools and implements for wear and sharp edges. Keep steel tools dry and well oiled to prevent corrosion. Steel can be brittle and can shatter under extreme stress. Contact with aluminum can irritate the skin and eyes.
